Can I practise with a scene partner online?
Yes. Most practice happens remotely over video. Remote reading is how self-tape readers usually work in the industry anyway, so it is real preparation rather than a compromise. In-person practice is also supported if both performers choose it.
Can I find a self-tape reader?
Yes, and it is the most common reason performers use Scene Partner. Many self-tapes feel stiff because the actor is playing to empty space. A live reader off-camera gives you something to listen and respond to, which shows up in the take.
Do I need experience or training to use it?
No. Scene Partner is built for performers outside drama school as much as inside it. You state your experience level on your profile, and matching uses it, so beginners are paired with people at a sensible stage rather than thrown in.

Scene Partner uses request-and-accept introductions, so nobody can contact you until you agree. Only active, verified and visible members appear, and members removed by moderation are excluded. Can performers under 18 use Scene Partner?
