This Privacy Policy explains how CastMe.ie ("CastMe", "we", "us", "our") processes personal data when you use our services.
Our privacy promise: CastMe is Irish-built, built for Ireland's creative and performance community, and designed to protect performers rather than exploit them. We do not sell member data. We do not use member photos, videos, voice recordings, Showcase materials, Studio practice media or performance data to train foundation AI models.
We process personal data in line with Irish and EU law, including:

- Match talent with roles and facilitate bookings

We do not sell personal data. We do not sell member profiles, uploaded media, Showcase content, Studio materials or account activity to advertisers, data brokers or AI training companies.
6. AI Tools and Performer Rights
CastMe may provide AI-assisted tools for private practice, feedback, profile support and platform guidance.
We know AI can feel unclear or worrying, especially for performers whose image, voice, likeness and creative work matter. CastMe's position is simple: AI tools on CastMe are intended to help members prepare, improve and present themselves. They are not intended to replace performers or take ownership of their work.
We do not use member photos, videos, performances, voice recordings, acting techniques, Showcase content or Studio materials to train foundation AI models or create replacement AI performers. Performer images, media, likeness and creative work remain owned by the performer.
Where AI tools require a request to a third-party AI service provider, we send only the information needed to provide that feature and use available provider settings or contractual safeguards to limit retention and prevent training use where available. We keep reviewing these settings as the tools develop.
We are an Irish-built platform and we take the privacy of Irish performers seriously. We aim to be transparent about how AI features work and will provide reasonable additional detail where a member, parent/guardian, regulator or industry partner requires it.
7. International Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we apply appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements.
When a member deletes media from CastMe, we remove it from the active platform and stop displaying it. Some limited records may remain where required for legal, security, audit, backup or dispute-resolution purposes, but deleted media is not kept for reuse, resale or AI training.
Members can delete their account from the dashboard. Account deletion removes the member account, profile, sessions, private Studio data, Showcase records and active uploaded media associated with that account. We may retain limited records only where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, audit, backup or dispute-resolution purposes.

Cookie use is governed by GDPR and Ireland's ePrivacy rules under S.I. No. 336/2011. Non-essential cookies are only used where valid consent is obtained.
