Performer Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions explain how performers may use CastMe.ie, including profiles, Showcase pages, Studio practice tools, Lab features, Scene Partner, opportunities and account services.

By creating an account, uploading content, using CastMe tools, applying for an opportunity or accepting work connected with CastMe.ie, you agree to these Terms.

Plain English summary: keep your information accurate, only upload work you have the right to use, treat other people and production information with respect, do not scrape or copy the platform, and remember that you control what you choose to publish in your Showcase.

1. Who CastMe is for

CastMe is an independent performer platform. It gives performers practical tools to organise their profile, practise privately, prepare for opportunities, create a public Showcase link and find useful industry routes.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, CastMe is not acting as your agent, manager, employer, producer or legal representative.

Health and safety duties primarily sit with the relevant production, employer or organiser under applicable law, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. If something feels unsafe, inappropriate or unclear, you should pause and raise it with the responsible production contact or appropriate authority.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where this would be unlawful under Irish law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, CastMe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when published on this page.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights.
