In Scotland, a retired radio engineer recognises a voice he thought he would never hear again. In Wales, two teenagers uncover a forgotten underground transmission station, while in Northern Ireland, a police officer receives a message containing information that nobody else could possibly know. As strangers from different generations and different corners of the country follow a trail of clues, their separate stories begin to connect. With sunrise approaching, they discover that the signal is not warning them about the future, it is giving them one final opportunity to change it. Combining mystery, emotion, adventure and moments of humour, The Last Signal is an ambitious ensemble drama about family, friendship, second chances and the unexpected connections that can bring people together. Filming begins early 2027.
