Written and directed by Masha Moroz, 'Macabre' is a supernatural horror short following a withdrawn teenager who discovers an old videotape after the death of her older sister. As her family struggles to move forward, she is drawn towards a mysterious lake where grief, memory and something far darker begin to take hold. Filming will take place in County Wicklow across four days in early September. The production is casting four distinctive supporting roles spanning family members and an eerie supernatural presence.
