'The Last Light' is an ambitious contemporary fantasy adventure in which an extraordinary event begins unfolding simultaneously in towns and cities across the UK and Ireland. When mysterious lights appear in the night sky, ordinary people begin discovering objects that seem to contain fragments of memories belonging to people they have never met. Alex is one of the first to realise that the objects are connected - and that together they reveal the location of something that has remained hidden for centuries. What begins as a mystery becomes a race across the country as Alex and two unlikely allies follow a trail through ancient landmarks, remote landscapes and modern cities, while an unseen force appears determined to reach the final location before they do. Because the story unfolds across different parts of the UK and Ireland, scenes will be filmed in multiple regions rather than from one central production base. Actors and film extras are therefore being sought from across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland, with successful applicants matched to appropriate filming locations wherever possible. The production is casting 1 lead role, 2 substantial supporting roles and a large number of film extras and featured non-speaking characters. Most successful applicants will be required for 1 filming day, with some lead cast potentially required for a second or third day. The lead roles and supporting roles are paid and catering will be provided for all cast during filming. No experience needed.
