'The Cycle' is a short film following a young man struggling to break the cycle of generational and childhood trauma and the challenges this creates as he moves into adult life. The story includes themes of addiction and scenes of violence. The film is the 2nd film from Tori Hughes, whose 1st film, 'The Aftermath', is an award-winning production currently on the festival circuit. 'The Cycle' is also intended for festival submissions and aims to raise awareness of the themes explored in the story. Filming will take place in the West Midlands. Roles are currently expenses only, although fundraising is ongoing and compensation may change depending on the final budget.
