'Off Schedule' is a student short film about a match on a dating app, a walk around the city and a language barrier during a potential two-day connection. The story follows a young Belfast local trapped in a suffocating routine who meets a foreign backpacker making the most of their final days of freedom before returning to a corporate job they hate. The production is urgently casting the backpacker role and requires an actor capable of performing a highly convincing European accent. Filming takes place in Belfast. This is paid student production, with meals and transport provided. The story contains moments where the characters are about to kiss, but there will be no real kissing or intimate physical contact. These moments will be achieved through camera work.
